Dedicated to the memory of Hilary Carrington
This site has been set up as a tribute to Hilary Carrington, who passed away on the 25th April 2020. She was a very much loved Mother, Grandmother and Friend. We have received numerous emails, cards and calls from family and friends which has been a wonderful reminder of the person she really was prior to having Alzheimer's. We will love and remember her always.

Thoughts
We shared so many things as families together. Fun things and sad things, worries and congratulations, hopes for work, for our children, holidays, music - it was such a joy to hear and watch Alan and Hilary perform - cosy evenings by the fire and breezy walks at Muddiford. We had most of a life time together. Goodbye to Hilary, to Alan and to Brian, with so much love from Libby.

Who countest the steps of the Sun:
Seeking after that sweet golden clime
Where the travellers journey is done.
Where the Youth pined away with desire,
And the pale Virgin shrouded in snow:
Arise from their graves and aspire,
Where my Sun-flower wishes to go.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. On behalf of everyone at the Alzheimer’s Society, thank you for choosing to support us.
